I TURN TO MUSIC TO BE CLOSER TO GOD. THERE ARE SOME WONDERFUL SONGS OUT THERE. YOU'LL NOTICE THAT SO MANY OF THE SONGS ADDRESS PROBLEMS AND HARD TIMES. HE NEVER PROMISED US THERE WOULD BE NO CHALLENGES IN LIFE. SOMETIMES, NO OFTEN, WE GET ANGRY AND BLAME GOD WHEN THINGS GO WRONG.
WE ARE NOT PUPPETS ON A STRING TO BE MANIPULATED BY OUR FATHER. USUALLY IT IS A CHOICE WE MADE OR THE CHOICES OF OTHERS FOISTED UPON US, THAT PUTS US IN A BAD PLACE. kt2011
I'd never heard this before but the lyrics are really very lovely and apt.
ReplyDeleteI popped over to say thank you for visiting me and your great advice. I shall definitely try hot sauce for keeping rabbits off - although as you said cows are a bit harder :-) Also the other day you advised me to get my eyes checked re: headaches. I wanted to thank you too for that. I have been to see the optician now and it's not that that is causing the headaches but I'm checking out my neck next!
Glad I made you chuckle today. As I look outside the cast of 'Watership Down' are munching away on any green bits of grass they can see. I'm sure they'd like some hot sauce with that!

ReplyDeleteSo pretty - very soothing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely song - thank you for sharing both it and its interpretation, Karen.
ReplyDeleteHope you've had a delightful Sunday! Did you remember to wash your Dad's Mac D mug & pack it away neatly, the lid included? Oh, you did? Of course, you always do :)
Good music for a Sunday for sure.
