#85-HAPPY NEW YEAR

I HAVE ONLY CELEBRATED ON NEW YEAR EVE ONE TIME.

WHEN I WAS IN GRADE SCHOOL MY PARENTS TOOK ME TO HOLLYWOOD AND VINE. BY MIDNIGHT I WAS TOTALLY BORED BUT DID GET A KICK OUT OF THE COUNT DOWN. "SO, THIS IS IT?" I SAID TO MY PARENTS. THEY NODDED. "BIG DEAL!" I UTTERED AND HAVEN'T PARTICIPATED TO THIS DAY. kt 2010

I never got the big deal either. I was just thankful I was still around each New Year!

WHO AM I ? 4/14/14

I am a retired teacher doing this for the pure enjoyment of writing, which has always been fun for me. As soon as it stops being fun I will probably stop. Actually, I did stop on August 11, 2012 but I logged in on 4/14/14 to find an article I wrote about my ant problem. Well, I was surprised to find that I had 27 people reading some of my entries. I am considering a return, only I am not going to go hog wild and post regularly. After all, I want it to be fun again.

Some of my stories are true, embellished a little, but true. Some of my stories are complete fabrications and mainly written to entertain the person for whom the story was written. Some of my stories are a combination of both.
