A neat thing about the church I attend (Oakton Methodist Church- a country church) is that they (our praise and worship team) sing a lot of this kind of song.
The lyrics are up on a large screen and eventually the whole congregation learns the song. We sing along (no hymnals for us) and it is like we have a choir of 300 or more. The first half hour is dedicated to praise and worship. Then the next hour is turned over to the pastor. By the time he gets up there we are in the proper frame of mind.
